So what does HomeMate do?

For all those that might be a little puzzled as to what HomeMate acually does but were too afraid to ask, I put the answer [and more] on this page.

The Short Answer

Home Mate is a Queensland home consultant and new home buyers guide home consultant Rick Adlam

Rick works with home builders that build in the low to moderate price range of $130,000 to $300,000 for house tenders. Our average home price is sub-$200,000! We can build house and land packages from $300,000! [Depending on land size, costs, and site costs.]

Home Mate’s Purpose

The purpose of HomeMate is to help new home buyers choose the right house plan for their block of land. If our customer does not have their own land sorted we offer land for sale info from most land developers in our areas and locations we build. The purpose of having this information is to allow usto put house and land packages together that suit our home buyers needs and budget. This will save our home buyers time and have them in their new home sooner. This will save them rent money and allow them to get on with the rest of their lives sooner.

What HomeMate is:

  1. A free website resource and application for users wanting to build a new home, and find land.
  2. A free home building consultants for people that want to use are services.

HomeMate is a website service and application that is dedicated to supplying useful information to users who need to get information about building a new home.

Whilst a lot of the information on HomeMate is universally useful [IMHO] it is primarily focused to help people in the locations and areas where I can assist users personally in organising the building of their new home.

What we do

We are new home building consultants. We help people to build a better home, within their budgets and completed on time. We do this seven ways.

The seven ways we help you as home buyers

  1. Help home buyers qualify for competitive finance. Construction loans, land loans and home loans. If you can’t qualify for finance, no one build you a home. To turn the dream into reality this crucial. If you have a preferred bank let us know now.
  2. Help people with land to start to build. [possibly are primary function]. Modify house plans to suit the land you have and your needs and budget,and advance you to getting tenders signed and the building process commenced.
  3. Help people select land for house plans of ours they really like, so the can get into the building process.
  4. Put together House and Land packages together for HomeMate customers. This lets you escape from the loop of not finding the right land to build on, and makes it financially easier to start the building process. Which will save you a bundle in time and money.
  5. Offer Company House and land packages that are already being built as we speak.[Saves you months of pre-building planning]
  6. Help people with our completed homes for sale. [For people who want a new home, and want it now]
  7. Help people buy Display homes. Display homes offer a way to get into property investment the easy way. You get a home that we rent back giving you a positive cashflow [currently 9% return] and we’re the tenant, and are only there office hours and don’t live in the house! When you add all the tax incentives that the Government offers right now [check with your Tax advisor], its a highly sought after property investment. How good is that?

Where do we live and work?

Rick Adlam lives in the Northern Gold Coast of Ormeau.

So obviously we are limited to sharing my skills and home building consultancy with people that want to build within 40 minutes of my home or display. The value of time, and the price of petrol combine to preclude me from travelling further or asking my customers to do so.

Home Mate information

So whilst we offer information on land and building from Tweed Heads in the South to Gympie and beyond in the north. I am only fesh and blood after all, so I am currently restricting my home consultancy services to customers who wish to build south of the Brisbane River, West to Ipswich and Gatton, and east to Cleveland and the Bay area, and the entire logan and Gold Coast areas as far south as Tweed Heads. This is the 40 minute from office/home Rule I have imposed so I don’t waste too much time travelling [for myself or my customers]. As I become better known and more in demand, I suspect that this area will shrink to the Logan, Ipswich and the Gold Coast Shires only. Obviously I may work on projects outside this area, on a case by case basis.
